The Hydrated Hottie Store Policy

Thank you for shopping with The Hydrated Hottie, where we prioritize hydrated, glowing skin and minds! Please review our policies below to ensure a smooth shopping experience.


Processing and Shipping Times

  • Processing Time: Orders are processed and shipped within 1-7 business days. Custom items (e.g., Hydrated Hottie apparel and bags) may take 7-9 business days as they are made on demand.
  • Weekend Orders: Orders placed after 5 PM on Fridays will not be processed until the following Monday. We do not process orders on weekends due to limited post office hours.
  • Shipping Delays: Please note that USPS and UPS may experience delays due to high demand during the holidays, inclimate weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Hot Weather & Melting Disclaimer

  • Melting Risk: Our body butters and scrubs are natural and prone to melting in warm and hot temperatures.
  • Precaution The Hydrated Hottie Takes: The Hydrated Hottie takes necessary steps by adding in reflective foil insulation during our hotter months here in Houston, Texas. However, sometimes, extended exposure to heat can still bypass these additives. The Hydrated Hottie is not liable for melted products due to heat exposure.
  • Prevention Tips:
    • Avoid leaving packages in mailboxes or on porches, especially for extended time.
    • Arrange for delivery to an address where someone can receive the package promptly.
  • How to Fix a Melted Product:
    • Let it sit at room temperature or refrigerate for 5-10 minutes until solid.
    • For hotties who want the whipped consistency, re-whip with a mini mixer on high speed for 3-5 minutes and transfer back to the jar.

***Please Note*** Melted does not mean damaged—it still provides the same nourishment and hydrating benefits! In fact, we use heat to create our body butters so heat does not impact it all all.


Lost or Stolen Packages

  • Responsibility: Once shipped through a mailing carrier, The Hydrated Hottie is not liable for lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged packages after they've reached the destination.
  • *Exception - If body oil has spilled in the package. Please email us with picture proof of oil leak at thehydratedhottie@gmail.com
  • Next Steps:
    • If your package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, contact USPS or UPS or your mailing carrier not listed directly using your tracking information.
    • We can assist you in filing a claim with the carrier, but the sole responsibility typically lies with the customer to resolve the issue. 
    • The Hydrated Hottie ONLY intervenes if the package never reaches you and the carrier system reflects that it is lost and HAS NOT been delivered. Only then, our brand may resend the item out or offer a discount on your future purchase.
  • Compensation: Refunds are not provided for lost or stolen packages. However, we may offer a discount on a future purchase as a courtesy.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

  • Final Sale: All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for body care products (oils, butters, scrubs, soaps, etc.) due to hygiene and safety concerns.
  • Incorrect Address: Orders with incorrect addresses, please email us immediately at thehydratedhottie@gmail.com for assistance. The customer is responsible for a reshipping fee if the package had already been sent out and/or sent and has not been returned to the Hydrated Hottie Headquarters.
  • Apparel Exchanges: Sizing issues can be resolved with an exchange. A $10 restocking fee and additional shipping costs apply.
  • Damaged or Incorrect Items: If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us immediately with photos, and we will evaluate the issue for a resolution at  thehydratedhottie@gmail.com 

Returned Packages

  • Returned to Sender: If a package is returned to us safely due to incorrect information or other issues, we will reach out to you if you want to have it resent or a refund will be issued minus the shipping cost. If resent, you are responsible for a reshipping fee.

Store Hours

  • Monday–Friday: 9 AM – 8 PM CST
  • Saturday: 11 AM – 5 PM CST
  • Sunday: Closed

Orders and customer service requests submitted after hours will be addressed on the next business day.
